The President of SEGA Kenji Matsubara unexpectedly announced his resignation “for personal reasons” — the order will immediately take effect.
Matsubara joined the company in 2014 in the role of technical Director, and in 2017 he was promoted to President. Prior to that, he is almost 10 years he headed Tecmo Koei and in the same role, worked in the Japanese division of Zynga.
In SEGA Matsubara managed to attach the arm to Yakuza Kiwami 2, Sonic Mania, Team Sonic Racing and Valkyria Chronicles 4.
