Who has not confused at least once The Outer Worlds with the Outer Wilds, and vice versa? Well, apparently, however, now these two games have in common something, or the writer, Kelsey Beachum, who has collaborated in the development of the first DLC of The Outer Worlds, titled Peril on Gorgon.

Beachum has announced the news on Twitter shortly after the Obsidian has revealed the DLC during the streaming of the Microsoft Games Xbox Showcase to be held in the day yesterday.

Peril on Gorgon, however, is not the classic DLC separate from the main adventure, but on the contrary, the developers have decided to create a new experience that will in some way add to the base game. The DLC will introduce a new planet, 3 new scientific weapons and new characters with which to interact. And just for a joke on the incredible similarity of the two names, the writer has declared: “If you were to confuse the Outer Wilds and The Outer Worlds, here’s a valuable game mnemonic that I have invented: Outer Wilds has the ‘I’ within it because it is the game that I have written.”

I DID IT.

THEY ALL TOLD ME I WAS MAD, BUT I DID IT.

I WROTE FOR BOTH THE OUTER WILDS AND THE OUTER WORLDS. https://t.co/0EdMqKkeEl

If you?’ve found yourself mixing up the Outer Wilds and The Outer Worlds, you might appreciate this handy mnemonic I made up:

?Outer Wilds has an ?the? in it, because that?s the game ?The? wrote for.?
