While The Last of Us Part. II has already blown up the charts and was imposed as the best start in the history of the exclusives PlayStation (and it is a sacred performance), Sony doesn’t seem to want to take a break and just announce that Ghost of Tsushima, the enchanting japanese adventure made by Sucker Punch, also came to break another record : the biggest launch for a new franchise exclusive to the PS4, with 2.4 million sales across the world… in just three days.
A performance undeniably so, particularly in Japan since the journey of Jin Sakai has literally caused the rupture of stock and beat the numbers to Death Stranding.
Ghost of Tsushima is now the new exclusive license PS4, which has sold more quickly, with more than 2.4 million units have passed in the world during the first 3 days of sale.

In comparison, in terms of launch, The Last of Us Part. II seat in the top of the list with 4 million copies were distributed, followed by Final Fantasy VII Remake (exclusive to PS4 temporary, of course) and Marvel’s Spider-Man with respectively 3.5 and 3.3 million policyholders.
Now, we are waiting impatiently for the next update from Sony on Ghost of Tsushima, obviously poised to be one of the biggest boxes business 2020… or even of the generation tout court. Hats off to them.
