The publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Asobo Studio have revealed that the total sales of A Plague That: Innocence have passed the one million units around the world.

A Plague That Innocence is was launched for the first time on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam in may 2019.

For those not in the know, in A Plague, The: Innocence, “follow the dark history of young Friendship and her little brother Hugo into a troubled journey into the most black of always. Fleeing the Inquisition, surrounded by unstoppable hordes of rats, Friendship, and Hugo will learn to know and trust one another. Fighting against all odds for their lives, they fight to find a purpose in this world the brutal and merciless”.

“1349. The plague is ravaging the kingdom of France. The Inquisition pursues the two brothers through the villages infested by lethal disease. Friendship and the small Hugo, during their journey, they must unite their forces to those of other young people to escape the waves of rats, using only fire and light as the only means of protection. United by a fate terrible, they face unspeakable horrors and survive at any cost.
