From the page Facebook official IIDEA (Italian Interactive Digital Entertainment Association), we learn that the First Playable Fund, the fund decided by the government to support the Italian industry of gaming, it’s safe.
In the middle of this month, we reported the disturbing news concerning this fund, as the former minister Madia of the PD aimed to suppress the background strongly desired by the secretary of grillina Liuzzi.
However, as you can read on the page of IIDEA, “in the day yesterday, the Budget Commission of the Chamber has reviewed and approved a re-wording of the text of the amendment 38.32 a first signature of the Cupboard that protects the bottom PUT “First Playable Fund” for the funding of prototypes of video games. IIDEA expressed its satisfaction for the positive outcome, and grateful to the parliamentary groups of the majority, and in particular On. Marianna Madia, for having expressed a unanimous recognition of the strategic value of our industry through the reformulation of the amendment in question”.
The fund and 4 million euros decided by the government, then, is prejudice and this is certainly a great news for the protagonists of the Italian industry of gaming.
