Studio Ghibli has revealed details of the new animated film created completely using computer graphics.
It was the adaptation of children’s book Diana Wynne Jones — she talks about a young girl orphan that was adopted by a woman. And all would be well, but that lady is a terrible witch from the clutches of which the heroine has to escape with the help of a talking cat.
Previously the Studio has already adapted the work of Jones, based on the novel “howl’s moving castle”.
Director of the film stands Goro Miyazaki (“Tales from Earthsea”), the son of Hayao Miyazaki. The latter, too, by the way, is working on a new project, but it will have to wait.
Premiere of “Aya and witches” will take place in the winter.
