Klabater and Punch Punk Games feature the new trailer for This is the Zodiac Speaking, a detective game that will be launched on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac September 24, 2020.

This is the Zodiac Speaking is a psychological thriller single-player from the noir atmosphere and based on true facts. The game offers two different game modes. A combines the storytelling elements of the game stealth and action while the second (Detective mode) puts the emphasis on the storytelling to immerse you fully in the investigation. The visual elements refer to the ’70s vintage and the unique atmosphere of the California of that time. The plot of the game is based on the story of the Killer of the Zodiac, one of the most famous serial killer never caught. You play Robert Hartnell, a journalist of San Francisco, who one day receives a phone call from the mysterious killer, greeted him with the memorable “Hello, this is the Zodiac speaking”. This event will inevitably lead Robert to the comparison with the famous american criminal.

This is the Zodiac Speaking is a title in the first person that blends elements from classic horror, mechanical, stealth, and detective films with different endings to discover, all based on the decisions you take during the investigation. The gloomy atmosphere of the game is emphasized by an original graphic and stylized, inspired by the filming of the ’60s/’70s and the music of the era.

The co-author of This is the Zodiac Speaking is Lukasz Orbitowski, one of the best Polish writers, winner of the prestigious award Paszporty Polityki, and nominated for the award, Nike. Together with Krzysztof Grudziński, Head of Punch Punk Games and the creator of the critically acclaimed Apocalipsis: Harry at the End of the World, you are immersed in the iconic setting of the California of the ’70s to produce a compelling story and ripe for people with nerves of steel!
