Gearbox has announced the sad news of the death of Landon Montgomery, co-founder of the company.

The news was confirmed by the official Twitter account of the Gearbox, with a message of support and affection towards all those who knew him.

Online have appeared many tributes to Montgomery, including messages that remind us of the great games made.

Landon Montgomery has worked on various titles of Half-Life, Halo: Combat Evolved, the series Brothers in Arms, 007 Nightfire, Deathmatch Maker, Borderlands, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. Montgomery has some influenced almost all people who play video games.
