In the end it happened, after 13 years, we have received a new the game Half-Life. Half-Life: Gun looks fantastic, and is a prequel set five years before the events of Half-Life 2: Episode 2 2007. We still don’t know how it ends the story of our Gordon Freeman, but last week, PCGamer has had the opportunity to ask Valve what he has in mind to do with the series.

Unfortunately, in the course of the discussion has not been confirmed casually Half-Life 3. But we now know that the shape of the next game Half-Life will depend very much by the way in which it will be assigned Half-Life: Gun.

“At this point, we don’t really know how it could be [a game of Half-Life] – we don’t know if it will be another title VR. We do not know if it will be a title no VR,” said the level designer of Valve, Dario Casali, who worked on both Half-Life games original.

“The best thing we can do at this point is to evaluate the response to this product. In that way people can appreciate it? How many people we can attract to the platform VR? [There are] saying that the VR is now an essential part of Half-Life? In reality we do not know the answers until the game will not be launched, then we will begin to listen to the feedback”.

The base was welcomed quite well, currently, the Metascore Metacritic is stuck at 92, and the lack of headset Valve Index has shown that a great game like Half-Life can definitely drive sales of the hardware with the VR.
