To Epic Games as President was joined by former managing Director of Nike digital technologies Adam Sussman. This became known thanks to his post on the social network LinkedIn. Epic Games has already confirmed this appointment.

“After 5.5 wonderful years at Nike, I decided to become President of Epic Games. Nike is a terrific brand, I got the chance to work with many wonderful people, and very proud of what we achieved together. Despite fond memories, I am very excited to join Epic. I’m honored to be a part of the amazing team that created one of the largest games in the world,” wrote Sussman.

“The year 2020 will be significant for me, my wife, our three children and two dogs… Return to the gaming industry, relocation to North Carolina and the opportunity to help change the future of gaming.”

Despite the fact that in recent years, Sussman has been in the Nike company, specializing in making sportswear and shoes, prior to that, he many times held senior positions in various game companies. From 2012 to 2014 he was senior Vice President of global publishing at Zynga, and before that worked at The Walt Disney Company as senior Vice President for publishing, DIMG Games at. His track record also includes senior positions at EA and Take-Two Interactive.

Sussman took a place in Epic Games after the resignation of previous President Paul Maganawho left the post in June last year.

CEO of Epic Games, however, remains the company’s founder Tim Sweeney. He also owns more than 50% of the shares.
