Rainbow Six Siege, launched in December 2015, has been supported by Ubisoft with a lot of content, allowing the game to grow in time. Now, an industry analyst has considered the game as an extraordinary example of how the continued support for a title can bring great benefits and new records.

Benji-Sales has discovered and announced that Rainbow Six: Siege has recently had its best day ever for number of simultaneous players on Steam, with well – 180.000 users registered at the same time. This figure does not take into account the players on Uplay or console, which means that the actual figure of the players online would have been much higher.

The exact number on Steam is 180.463. The game is a result, behind Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (896.092), Dota 2 (647.060), PUBG (584.139) and Grand Theft Auto V (228.023). In the time, including the end of the week of free game time, the title has attracted 50 million players.

The game shows no signs of slowing down. Ubisoft is going to introduce its first major revision for a character, with Tachanka that it will abandon its turret in favor of a grenade launcher. The game will also be available on the Xbox Series the X-and PlayStation 5 at the launch of the console.
