Punctual as always, the NPD has released data for sales of console and games were made on the north american market during the month of January.
To dominate among the games, predictably, it was Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, who managed to relegate in the second position Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. On the lowest step of the podium sits, instead, Madden NFL 2020, followed by Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and by the immortal Grand Theft Auto V. NPD noted that free-roaming Rockstar Games, is back in the Top 5 for the first time since the month of August 2019, and it still remains today the most sold of all time in the United States.
- Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

With respect to the month of January 2019, the revenues generated by software sales were down 31%, probably due to the fewer number of titles high-impact, arrived on the market. Last year, in this period came out, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3, among others.
For the fifteenth month in a row, Nintendo Switch was the console most sold in the USA. Also in the area of hardware, however, registered a drop in collections, in this case equal to 35%. The NPD has not made the positions from the second on, so we don’t know what has been sold between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
