After having witnessed the presentation of Outriders, many have immediately associated the game of Destiny and other looter shooters proposed as GaaS (games as services), in reality things are not so and Outriders will offer a complete experience at launch.

Szymon Barchan, Lead Narrative Designer, People Can Fly, was interviewed by VG247.com and on this occasion he declared that Outriders is in a phase of development from 2015, at the time, the trend of the live games service had not yet taken hold and, therefore, has chosen not to opt for that direction.

The Lead Level Designer Rafal Pawlowski adds that: “Outriders is not a live game, at launch we will have a campaign and multiplayer support, it will be a product packaged complete in every part”, this does not mean, however, that People Can Fly has not in the program of events and additional content to expand the game, but for the moment it is too early to talk about it.

Outriders is a IP very important for Square Enix and for the study, hence the choice to adapt the release date to the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, with the goal of enjoying a greater visibility. The game will also be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
