Through a press release, Perfect World Entertainment, a leading publisher of games on the live service, and Cryptic Studios today revealed the first details on the game system of the Magic: Legends, the new MMORPG action free-to-play based on the historical strategic card game, Magic: The Gathering.
For fans of Magic and MMORPG action the time has come to assume the role of a Planeswalker, and save the Multiverse from the most terrible threat ever known. Players will be able to explore some of the plans the most emblematic of Magic, collecting magic spells, and accumulate the power necessary to defeat enemies in combat.
The test of the beta version of the Magic: Legends will begin next spring! The first test of the game will introduce two new Planeswalkers: the Geomancer, with a devastating seismic effects, and the Magician’s mental, endowed with great psychic powers. The Magic: Legends will officially launch worldwide on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2021.
