Square Enix today announced the postponement of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake for PS4, the game will not be released in march as previously advised but it will come only during the month of April. For the occasion, shared a message to Yoshinori Kitase.

“We know that you do not see the hour that decoy Final Fantasy VII Remake, and are waiting patiently to have fun with the game we’re working on. To make sure that we publish the title you have in mind with the quality that our fans deserve, we have decided to move the release date to April 10, 2020. We have taken this difficult decision in order to have a few more weeks to refine the game and be able to offer you the best experience possible. From all the team, I want to apologize, because it means that you’ll have to wait a little longer for the game. Thanks for your patience and your unfailing support.”

To get your hands on Final Fantasy 7 you will then need to wait for the 10 April, the delay will allow the developers to improve some aspects of the game and thus ensure the high quality that fans of the remake expect. No news however about the possible release on other platforms in addition to PlayStation 4 and PS4 PRO.
