Tencent has officially announced the season esports 2020 dedicated to PUBG Mobile. The total prize money next year, it will be even more rich: over $ 5 million.
The PUBG Mobile World League will complement the already existing competitive circuit PUBG Mobile Club Open for the season esports 2020. The format for next year has been created in such a way that players are amateurs, semi-professionals and professionals can compete in a competitive environment structured in its every step.
The pyramidal structure will be composed as follows: at the base there will be the Campus Championship for the players not professionals; in the intermediate step is to certify the PUBG Mobile the Club Open , and finally the Pro League.
These last two phases will be structured to cover individual territories at the national level. The best teams will advance to the Pro League’s regional, which will then be followed by the PUBG World League. This will ultimately lead to the PUBG Mobile World Championship 2020.
Two championships in the Pro League have already been formalized also by James Yang, director of Global Esports for PUBG Mobile: the PUBG Mobile Americas Pro League and the South Asia Pro League. Just as already happens with the PUBG Mobile Cup Open, next year the World League will be divided into two split. These will start respectively in may (Spring Split) and October (the Fall Split).
Remember that PUBG Mobile was the first battle royale, mobile to break through the milestone of one billion Dollars.
