By now, only a little more than a month at the exit of the Pokémon Sword and Shield, and finally the developers of Game Freak Shigeru Ohmori, Junichi Masuda, and James Turner, have unveiled new information about the three starter of the game: Sobble, Grookey and Scorbunny.

The three developers were not sbottonati on the evolutions of the three pokémon, but they have specified that all three are linked to a region of Barge , in a way that players will understand that simply playing it. According to their words, it is the first time that the pokémon starter are so different from each other.

Sobble is defined as the pokémon ideal for coaches kind and loving towards their little creatures, his appearance, tender and almost helpless. Type is water and has a large fin on his head, and his body becomes transparent when it emerges. The developers were not sure how the fans would react towards the character, but they knew that would have been appreciated in Japan because of the sense of security that Sobble stimulates in the players.

The personality of Grookey is almost the opposite of that of Sobble. Likes to climb and use his “mysterious pole” to infuse life and energy into the world around him. For example, if it touches the grass with the stick, it begins to grow. It will be a pokémon that is fun to use, according to the developers.

Scorbunny is instead super-power, is the type of pokémon that a trainer is expected to find out from its Pokéball in its wake. Often puts himself in trouble, but knows how to keep great company.

Pokémon Sword and Shield will be available from 15 November. Have you already decided on which starter to start? To learn more, take a look at our preview of Pokémon the Sword and Shield.
