It seems that Activision has studied a technology with a very special, and through which may change significantly the physical characteristics and behaviors of non-player characters present in the next games.

The patent of which we speak, in fact, speaks of an algorithm (the development of which started in 2014) to study the characteristics of players as age, abilities, tendencies to play in a group, amount of hours played and style of play. The collection of all these data will lead the development team to include in their titles of the bots able to replicate in a more or less faithful all these attitudes so as to give players the feeling of having fought against a user of flesh and bones.

It seems that among the collected data there are also those population, even if in the exact moment when the artificial intelligence will use that particular profile, it would be anonymous all the sensitive data such as place of origin and sex.

In short, it is not excluded that such a system can already be implemented in the first titles coming to the newly announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett, maybe in the next episode of Call of Duty, which according to some rumor might be the new Black Ops.
