Through a press release, 505 Games and Remedy Entertainment have announced the next content post-launch dedicated to Control. Below you can find the detail of what it is.
- Photo Mode: the Remedy is working to achieve, this autumn, a new free mode that will allow players to take some great pictures of Jesse inside the Oldest House.
- New Game Mode: In December will be released the mode Expeditions that will include new content in which Jesse will have to help Arish, a Security Manager, to explore the mysterious “Formation” and its surroundings. Here lies one of the most challenging challenges inside the Oldest House. This content will be free for all players.
Expansions: In 2020, will be released two expansions for a fee, “Foundations”, and “EMA”, both of which will include new missions, new team, new enemies and new mechanics of the game and will be set in new areas inside the Oldest House.
The foundation will explore the history of the Oldest House. At the request of the mysterious Board, Jesse will have to find out what lies in the dungeons of the palace of the Federal Bureau of Control.
The second expansion, called EMA, will take place in a new area of the Oldest House, the Field Investigations, where the Bureau is studying carefully the Events of the World Altered.
The Digital Deluxe Edition of Control for the PlayStation 4 (at a price of 79.99 euro), will include these two expansions, all of the contents of the standard edition of the PlayStation 4, the extra mission “Isolation” and the exclusive Equipment of the Urban Response to Jesse. For players who have already purchased the Control for the PS4 you can book a Season Pass that will include both of the expansions as they are released.
Each expansion can be purchased individually at launch, the season pass expansions will be available for purchase for the Xbox One and PC. The Season Pass and the expansion Foundation will be available for purchase on these two platforms after the launch on PlayStation 4. The expansion of the EMA will be released, instead, at the same time for all platforms.
