Assembles and it’ll Pass is a weekly column that gathers the main news related to the hardware from the gaming PC’s and offers three configurations, divided for price ranges, designed for those who want to assemble or upgrade their machine. As usual, the suggestions and corrections are welcome provided that the tone is appropriate. A further advice is to read the paragraphs that have the configurations before giving battle in the comments.
We arrive at the finish line of the two hundred numbers at the end of an important week, that’s E3, that of the presentation of the Radeon RX 5700 and 5700 XT, confirmation of the support RTX for two games that are important, that of the first processor consumer to 16 cores and that of the almost confirmation of a new series of GeForce RTX, apparently destined to change in a manner sensitive to the landscape of medium-high and high cards, PC video. But before launching ourselves into the future we take stock of the situation on AMD, of course, the protagonist of our special dedicated to the event Next Horizon Gaming, which has fallen in the field with two alternatives ( oppose to the RTX 2060 and 2070, which are characterized, at least according to the benchmarks published by AMD, by a higher power and a slightly lower price, although no hardware acceleration for Ray tracing. This should be, however, between the features of the upcoming new console generation, or at least so seem to indicate some statements related to the two new hardware platforms are equipped with technology and Ships, but probably not we’ll see a Radeon up to the next generation, the one that should bid farewell to the era of the Graphics Core Next bringing to maturity the design of RDNA exploited for an architecture all new. The new Radeon, however, seem to have in some way pushed NVIDIA to react even on the hardware front, although this can rely on dedicated hardware that is lacking in the competition. Among other things, the support for Ray tracing has been announced for the big pieces such as Cyberpunk, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Watch Dogs: the Legion, increasing the appeal of the NVIDIA GPU for those who want the maximum, but we know that the technology weighs and to exploit, when it is used intensely inside of a game engine, need tabs powerful, while those of mid to high-end are struggling even in the presence of the support for the upscaling DLSS that lightens the work load. And these factors mean that the new Radeon will have a certain appeal compared to the options of medium-high end of the competition. It is also likely that AMD has in store models, and more powerful, and for going to annoy the RTX 2080 and 2080 You with a surprise.
But as we’ve anticipated NVIDIA might have an ace in the hole, probably intended to annoy those who have paid over 1200 euros for a RTX 2080 You, with the alleged series GeForce RTX SUPER that according to the rumors, the most recent would be bound to raise a step the power of all the adapters Turing-equipped with the RT Core and the Tensor Core. And the power increase should depend on only the improvement of memory, as hypothesized previously. The GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER would seem in fact to be able to count on a greater number of CUDA Cores, arriving at an altitude of 2176, while the 2070 should arrive at the altitude of 2560 CUDA Cores. It speaks instead of a jump the lower to the RTX 2080 SUPER, which should, however, exceed an altitude of three thousand CUDA Cores, with a chip, neutered of 2080 You flanked by 8GB of memory. In this case, however, the counts of the core would be significantly lower, probably so that does not overlap exactly with the RTX 2080 You-but it should still have a SUPER version, a beast based on a chip all-new, unlike those of the models below, and fully unlocked, so as to leave space for the partner NVIDIA to push frequencies to the maximum. And although it is not known, even in the form of rumo, the amount of memory, in this case, we expect modules faster than the VRAM of the RTX standard. The same modules that we expect, though in lesser quantities, on a new entry, the RTX 2070 Ti SUPER, menzionat rings rumors and, presumably, designed to be placed between the 2070 the SUPER and the 2080 SUPER. In this case, however, it might overlap with the RTX 2080 smooth, resulting in unnecessary faced with an option that we expect declines in price in the time in which were to become the fourth option, in terms of the power, of the family GeForce Turing. Instead, will not have rivals in the RTX 2080 You SUPER, always exists, providing, presumably, a nice step forward, hopefully enough to bring the 60fps in 4K with the RTX is active in titles such as Metro Exodus, of course, in the quality ultra. And as a result we wish you a nice out for the framerate in 1080p and 1440p, and even more so at this juncture during which they begin to spread the monitor to 240Hz, and then able to send screen 240 frames per second. We have, however, a certain fear of the prices. The hope is that they are, at worst, equal to those of the current RTX standard, but we talk about possible price increases, which, while moderate, should push the options of high-end to price even less digestible. As for the models below, however, a RTX 2060 SUPER powerful as an RTX 2070 and equipped, say, with the same RT and Tensor Core of the latter, it could afford to cost up to 449 dollars of the Radeon RX 5700 XT, while still maintaining a discreet appeal. But here also we talk about rumors, among other less concrete than the previous ones. The only thing on which we would bet, at the moment, is the existence of a SUPER series, mentioned by NVIDIA itself, before the Computex, while the characteristics and assumptions on the prices change depending on the source, leaving us in doubt even in the face of the launch date. In fact, it speaks of the June 21, with an arrival even earlier than the one scheduled for 7 July, the new Radeon RX 5700.
The configuration of the budget is aimed at saving but it is said that there is no space for the upgrade where you have interesting perspectives. The proposals in this band include solutions designed for the games at a low technical profile and build oriented to 1080p.
From 7 July, the mid and high end will have new options thanks to the CPU Ryzen 3000, but have not yet talked about the alternatives of low-end, presumably intended to arrive later. And this means that the Ryzen 5 1600X, available at 135 euros is a good investment thanks to its 6 cores, 12 threads, the margins of overclocking and base frequencies-not bad for this band.
Also in the field of GPU, it seems that the low end is not intended to accommodate new options any time soon. NVIDIA has not, in fact, talked about the new GTX Turing while the presentation of the new Radeon has put us in front of two models of medium-high. And this means that we are comfortable with the RX 570 in a segment that for some time see AMD dominate the relationship between price and performance.

In the end gaming usually are those components that allow you to tackle the game on a PC without fear and to hold on for some time. The yield of the accounts with the frame rate is just around the corner, but with a good base, you can always sell the GPU is old before it depreciates in value too, so buy a new battery, just in time to tackle the next blockbuster video game breaks the hardware.
After having given space to the Core i5-9400F, perfect for those who has no desire to think of any form of overclocking, let’s go back to 6 cores and 12 threads of Ryzen 5 2600, the price of which, after the announcement of the series Ryzen 3000, it slipped up to about 140 euros, putting us face to face with an offer difficult to refuse.
The Radeon RX 5700, once past the launch period, it may be the most sensible of the new AMD GPUS based on architecture, Ships, escaping the confrontation with the alleged GeForce RTX SUPER and beating the RTX 2060 for the relationship between spending and performance. At the moment, however, the more economical alternative of the series RTX has no rivals, and while looking at the medium-high range has lost a few euros for the street, gaining a new appearance in our configuration from the game.

The configuration push has a meaning only for the one who aims at high resolutions, aware that luxury often does not go hand-in-hand with rationality. On the other hand, let’s face it, who does not like to have a nice engine under the hood even if there is to adhere to the speed limit?
On the 7th of July, Intel could lose its dominant position in the extreme, but for now, the Core i7-9900K remains in the sample, especially for those who prefer a combination of multi-threading and framerate extremes in 1080p and 1440p, where the clock of the processor guarantees some advantage with different titles.
Pointing to the framerate maximum that we can not choose the card more powerful in the movement, making it clear that the arrival of new options from AMD and NVIDIA invites us to advise caution and patience before making a major purchase. That said we launch on the GeForce RTX 2080 You VENTUS, the well-known model of MSI that satisfies two fans, but all take advantage of in an excellent way by ensuring, inter alia, a minimum noise level.
