Eiji Aonuma has answered a lot of questions about The Legend of Zelda, the series of which it is a producer’s historical and here in particular we highlight some aspects of the development of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakeing, on why it was chosen as a chapter for a remake.
The reasons behind the decision to bring The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the Nintendo Switch are in special effects: “we do Not ever, when there is to develop a remake, thinking of what title we would like to redo,” explained Aonuma. “We think that type of new experience of the game we can incorporate into the structure and then we start from there. The Chamber Dungeons (mazes to weave) is associated perfectly to Link’s Awakening, and we wanted to give priority to something that was new and original for the fans.” In essence, the new mode Chamber Dungeons has been the basis of choice, because the chapter that I joined in was The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. This is the new feature of gameplay that allows you to find the new tiles around the game world, each corresponding to a room of a dungeon. With those collected, you can then build a dungeon to pleasure by combining the different elements discovered.
