Project Prelude Rune : the game is cancelled and Studio Istolia closes its doors

A spokesman for Square Enix has confirmed to our colleagues of USGamer that the game Project Prelude Rune unveiled in 2017, has seen its development abandoned, while the Studio Istolia who was permanently closed. Directed by Hideo Baba (producer of the series Tales of), the project had taken the lead in the wing with the departure of the latter, the last month, even though the official explanation was that he wanted to leave the place to young people. Clearly, things were not going strong, and Square Enix has, therefore, preferred to drop this new project. The developers of Studio Istolia will therefore be reassigned in the various development studios of Square Enix. One could suspecting this tragic end for a few days, the Twitter accounts of the game and the studio has been closed.
