Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered, the remastered edition that includes the two episodes of the series Ubisoft set in the period of the american war of independence, was subjected to the usual analysis technique by Digital Foundry.
The head of English has detected the resolution and the frame rate of the game on PC and console, by comparing in the case of the Windows platform to the remaster with the original, using in both cases the 4K real and setting the effects to the maximum, and noting a substantial improvement of the latter, in particular thanks to the introduction of the screen space reflection on the water.
On Xbox One X Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered runs at 1800p with an effect similar to the one that you can appreciate on the PC, while on Xbox One’s resolution down, unfortunately, to the usual value of 900p. With regard to the Sony console, the PS4 Pro, the resolution is equal to 1512p, whereas on PlayStation 4 standard you can enjoy the traditional 1080p.
Curiously, the resolution of Assassin’s Creed 3 Liberation, the second of the two games included in the package, it is different: 4K real on Xbox One X, 4K “reconstructed” on the PS4 Pro and 1080p on the Xbox One S and PS4 standard. As for the frame rate, both of the securities are stable at 30 frames per second, with some small exceptions on the PS4 Pro and cali quite noticeable on the Xbox One S.
